’Tis the season for turkey, pumpkin pie and quality time spent with friends and family. Above all, however, it’s the season for expressing gratitude for the many things we count as blessings in our lives. You may be thankful for your financial security, for example, or for your continued health and happiness.
At Esna, we’re thankful for our hardworking and innovative staff, as well as for the opportunity to continue innovating and leading in the enterprise communication and collaboration space. Perhaps most of all, however, we’re thankful for today’s collection of amazing productivity and collaboration tools offered by a number of vendors that support next-generation team engagement. These kinds of tools have the power to transform working teams, especially as vendors continue challenging themselves to push the envelope to improve the collaboration experience.
Of the many productivity enhancing solutions available today, below are the three that we are especially grateful for this Thanksgiving:
With more than 5 million businesses currently using Google Apps, we’re obviously not alone in our appreciation of this enterprise collaboration tool. Google Apps equips businesses large and small with a range of dynamic communication and collaboration capabilities from calendaring to document sharing to file storage, which are all seamlessly integrated and available via one central location. Perhaps best of all, companies can begin using the tool starting at just $5 per month, as well as enjoy a free 30-day trial.
Another reason to be particularly thankful for Google Apps is the fact that Google last month revealed that it would begin allowing companies to use Google Apps for free while under contract with another company.
Microsoft Office 365
There are approximately 80 million Office 365 accounts in use today. With such a massive user base, Office 365 gets the lion’s share of credit for driving Microsoft’s cloud revenues to $5.5 billion throughout the first half of 2015—a 114 percent growth year over year. Some of the best benefits of Office 365 include its ability to seamlessly provide users with remote access from any Internet-connected device and to offer users access to their favorite Microsoft tools, e.g., SharePoint and Outlook, in one central, easily-accessible place.
Better yet, Office 365 is backed by a number of Esna’s collaboration solutions for companies making the move from an on-premises Microsoft Exchange platform to a cloud-based Office 365 solution, allowing them to retain specific collaboration capabilities for their users. Esna helps these companies maintain collaboration functionality within the browser, meaning they do not have to install new desktop software or replace their existing communications infrastructure.
There are plenty of great tools that salespeople can use to perform and increase productivity (click here to learn about six sales apps we enjoy in particular). Salesforce, however, represents the best of the best for many salespeople today. The solution provides sales reps with better visibility into their customer information—accounts, opportunities and contact information—all in one central place. The solution is also known to simplify account planning, streamline reporting and enable sales reps to better manage their time, among a number of other key benefits.
If all of this isn’t reason enough to jump on the Salesforce bandwagon, consider that, as of May 2015, Salesforce was ranked No. 2 on Forbes' list of “The World’s Most Innovative Companies.”
As an organization that prides itself on simplifying and optimizing work through the use of seamlessly interoperable communication tools, we at Esna couldn’t be more grateful for these three solutions that make business users’ lives easier than ever.
