We’re a big believer in enabling people to communicate and collaborate anytime, anywhere. To make this possible, Esna has focused its business on connecting things—premises-to-cloud, telephony systems to cloud apps, people to their teams.
Working with Cisco and Jive Software enables us to connect unified communications capability with the power of the Jive platform to drive better collaboration in the enterprise. We view tools like Jive as an integral part of the unified communications and collaboration universe that give people more ways to connect, share information, and get work done.
Our Esna Cloudlink for Cisco™ 5.0, released earlier this year, enables Cisco users to access voice messages from inside the Jive inbox feed and respond immediately with an integrated dialer. We also enable WebEx scheduling from inside Jive with a single click.
Yesterday, Cisco emphasized in a blog post its deepening commitment to social tools, combining WebEx and Jabber with Jive’s enterprise collaboration platform. We are excited that Cisco and Jive both leverage Esna and our Cloudlink for Cisco, iLink for WebEx and iLink for Jive solutions to help deliver on this commitment.
There is clearly huge value in bringing together enterprise collaboration and communications technology. These tools are increasingly finding their way into the enterprise, and enabling people to combine voice, video and productivity tools like WebEx is the next logical step in business productivity.
It’s our belief that social should not be a silo—it should be fully integrated in the communications stack. We’re excited about the opportunity to continue working with Cisco and Jive to make communication capability ubiquitous and so easy to use that it disappears inside the apps that busy professionals work in every day.
